Sometimes life just plain out sucks, but we have to get through it or else there's no point in living. If we never learn from our mistakes then we'll never know how to be better. What would we do if we just gave up on everything. Life shouldn't be full of regrets. When we look at the good side everything is so much better. Just stay on the positive side and life's "regrets" are just memories you knew you had to do in order to get where you are now.
